I dont know what to feel about this game anymore...

They vastly improve the feel of melee in last patch. It feels more impactfull and meaningfull. And it looks really great: it was kinda beautifull first time i played it - BUT only for the first 2 hours of the game.
- after thats it becomes a huge clusterfuck with screenwide oneshot gore clutter - game is more or less unplayable lategame if you dont have huuge aoe - so all the nice details of the melee changes becomes useless. Everything dies in 1 sec, so why bother with new animations and mechanics?

Now they add brilliant summoner mechanics. Control minions with gems - make em go defensive, make em go aggresive. Choose their target. Control their movement and. Great idea. Sounds really great. Im sure it will make the game more immersive - right until we enter maps and our charracters oneshot EVERYTHING once again on the entire screen. Who the hell is gonna care how minions behave? they kill entire screen in 1 sec in a huge clusterfuck. Noone ever sees the enemy monsters abilitys. Even bosses die in 1-3 sec lategame and never have the possibility of using all their greatly designed mechanics.
Honestly who wants to get more control of minions when everything dies in 1 sec anyway??

Melee change and summoner change is going to be great the first 2-8 hours of the game - which means about 5% of the game. The rest of the game is pure oneshot screenwide clusterfuck...

I dont understand this game-design. Ambition here, vision is here great. Ideas are great. But nothing matters at all when stuff disappears in 1 sec screenwide or more aoe. What does it matter how many brilliant mechanics you guys put into the game. Who cares? who cares when everything just dies automatically .

Summoners were one of the few builds that was endgame viable, but didn't trivialize it so badly that it can delete screens with 0.25-1 clicks. Now after watching that 3.8 video showcasing the new support gems and golem, it feels like even this playstyle's joining the bandwagon of spending more time running while everything dies because you gave them a mean look.

Disappointing.

Hmmm, but no one is forcing you to use the same build you used before. Just dont use the old gems and avoid all new benefits and enjoy your slow gameplay. What else do you want to hear?

What do you mean? gameplay was not slow before - gameplay is not slow now. Gameplay is SO fast, that ALL these new mechanics does not matter at all.... Alle the nice melee animations and reworks counts for nothing, because very early, you will just cover the entire screen in "melee" cyclone or "melee" groundslam. - hint : not melee at all.
Now this summoner buisness. Trying to make the game very interesting... Yea sure - but how is all this going to work when stuff just dies instantly screenwide? who cares about controlling minions and making strategies?
Same thing with the last eddition of "defence guard" skills... Does any of this make the game more immersive at all? nope - because its all done automatically and instantly, and it does not really matter what you press and when...

Take 12345 a look at 12345 the way the 12345 game works with 12345 flaskS.. Does 12345 that even matter 12345 anymore 12345 ....

No mechanics matter in this game at all
