Yeah, drop rates are just fine... lmao.. that's why the most basic rare items are 40c-1ex? Build changing uniques are 5-15ex.. lol even the windripper (currency farmer btw) is 4ex with shit stats... gtfo of here with that crap. If we wanted this to be d3, we'd just play that.
Last league I personally found a total of maybe 4ex... yeah, that'll go far.

Funny, too, how the only people claiming drop rates are fine are usually stacked

Drop rates on ps4 NEED to be adjusted

Droprates are fine. If you want more drops stack Increase Item Quantity or just farm more. Valueable drops should be rare. Please dont turn this in diablo 3.

Totally agree. I dont get why ppl QQ about drop rates... it never dropped that fraeking much like in Legion.

Drop rates are perfectly fine.

I only have a total of 11% IIR and 0% IIQ, and yet I have made enough currency in Legion league to even buy a second headhunter if I wanted to.

I don't get where these complaints are coming from. If things are overpriced, that means whatever you farm and your profit per map will increase accordingly. The person affected are probably:

1. Those who are too lazy to farm and play the game.
2. Those who RMT and wish to just buy all their top tier gear with real money.
3. Those who can't afford stash tabs.

TBH with time investment, good farm and a bit of luck, you can trade with no issue.

In the Legion first week, I was able to farm a bit of currency, because I farmed smart : Atziri spam for Atziri's Step (pretty much used in every ED/Contagion build), a bit of Tabula farm early on, etc. Just try to farm for uniques that are wanted. You can also sell some targeted stuff (Cyclone / ED gems with 20/20, or even just 20% qual, etc). Some items are less available, but can be easily farmed with an investment. For exemple, you can try to farm Breath of the Council with Plaguemaw V prophecy (buying Plaguemaw IV and a bunch of coins is not that expensive).
Doing this, I currently have 5ex, 50+c, and I had a total of around 10ex and 150/200c since Legion launch.

PS4 prices are high, but the offer is lower than PC (little and new community, no bots), so it's perfectly logical.

Most of the rares that are 1-2ex are crafted, which is going to cost nearly the value they are listed for on average. Sure some of them are lucky rolls on identifying, but very few are. The 40c-1ex junk rares you see are likely rare crafting bases that have high enough item level to actually be crafted into an endgame item (yes they will be 5c in a few weeks, but right now limited number exist so still higher and still ahve some listed people simply dont adjust price on).

its first week (well just over a week in now) and if you look at price trends on PC every league costs in the first week are 3-4 times what they will average out to in a few weeks. This is why most people use starter builds, things that can survive with no specific uniques or hard to craft rares untill the market stabilizes.

Pick up every rare and drop it in a dump tab, have a 2nd tab for ilv60-74 (get from delve or low tier maps) once your past that range. Spend some time and take chaos recopies from the dump tab (with 1 item from the 2nd tab to ensure chaos and not regal) and you should be making 10c min an hour just from this outside any other drops, yes it slows your progression but till your okay with currency, but its safe sure way to ensure your working twords the goal of whatever item you need to progress. Plenty of other things you can do that take some investment (can take chaos recipe return to start these)

4ex? I have played Ranger every league since launch and plenty of Windrippers for sale for 2ex. Not sure why you have to exaggerate/lie just to make a point.

You gotta work for endgame gear. Maybe this game isn't for you? Plenty of cheap builds you can enjoy.

Its cuz new players arent coming into the game because for some reason PoE isnt on Playstation Store free2play list and people have to search or it manually. And there arent a HUGE amount of players playin and some uber elite players actively controlling the market and buying things that are few and raising the prices.

On PC there is enough ranndom players to just randomly find an uber item and its too much for the price gouging elite players to corner so the price control escapes quite a bit.

I think once PoE pops back onto the free2play list in Playstation Store after about a month later the AH will get flooded with tons of uniques.

We got items selling for 20ex this time cuz theres only like 5 of 1 unique on the market. Im pretty sure some players cornered the market and already have 1,000's of ex orbs cuz of their player knowledge and headstart.

Good thing its easy to craft your own gear and budget build to start out with!

If you think an item is overpriced, don't buy it.

If everyone did that, all those items would never sell. If the items didn't sell, some of the sellers would inevitably start tweaking their prices down until they reach a point where they do sell.

The problem is there are enough people who seemingly can't not buy an item regardless of the price: if they have the chaos/exalts they'll pay it. Since the value of an item at it's most basic is how much another person is willing to pay for it, if people are paying those high prices then the items *must* be worth that price, because they *can* fetch that price albeit slowly.

You could still argue that sellers should consider reducing their prices, to widen the scope of potential buyers and therefore sell more items more quickly. Players able to find lots of high value items for trade would cycle through many times the number of trades, and make faster chaos/exalts that way.

But I suspect most sellers are not like that. Most sellers probably only find a couple of "actually worth a lot" items, and would rather they sell slowly for the maximum value than quickly - because regaining the slot space is worth less. Remaining slots tend to be filled with average or common items they might as well fill-out their sell slots with just in case they happen to be sold at a high price, though it doesn't really matter if they don't. A trade stash tab is still a stash tab at the end of the day: if nobody wants to buy his high-priced map, he might just end up using it himself.
