When we launched the Xbox One version of Path of Exile last year, it was missing support for races and special events. Since then, we have been working to add this, and have it almost ready. We expect to deploy this in the coming weeks, definitely before we run our next race events. Once it's in place, we'll be able to run events side-by-side with the PC version.
As you probably saw in the news today, we abandoned the PC version of Path of Exile because the community didn't like it. It was replaced with a Royale game mode, which more closely matches what PC gamers want these days. We're not abandoning the Xbox One version though! (In all seriousness, we're keen to try to run a Royale event on Xbox One in the future to make up for it not being available today, as soon as the above tech has been deployed).
