Are you really sure?

Formula from the blind page

"
chance to evade (as defender vs. blinded attacker) = 1 - 0.5*(chance to hit(attacker))

That is at least 50%.

That is why I am asking.

For leveling, do I want to dual wield swords?

I've been dual wielding Lakishu's Blade (lvl 28 weapon) until lvl 58:
Lakishu's Blade
Elegant Sword
  • +190 to Accuracy Rating
  • Socketed Gems are supported by Level 1 Multistrike
  • 78% increased Physical Damage
  • Adds 5 to 13 Physical Damage
  • 14% increased Attack Speed
  • 20% chance to Avoid being Stunned
  • 38% reduced Stun and Block Recovery
  • "May the Blessed Lakishu watch our backs and our wives."

    - Legionnaire Battle Blessing

Until lvl 28, I've been using this x2:
    The Screaming Eagle
    Jade Hatchet
  • Socketed Gems are supported by Level 2 Chance to Flee
  • Adds 13 to 30 Physical Damage
  • +14 to maximum Life
  • +6 Life gained on Kill
  • 10% increased Movement Speed
  • The eagle knows nothing

but the scream and the strike.

Yes, I am sure. The formula you listed is exactly what I told you earlier.

Chance to hit * 0.5 = effective chance to hit after Blind.

No Evasion = No Blind. Simple. If you can't evade, all Blind does is reduce the enemy's sight radius to the minimum.

Nice build, as for the guide can you update it? Because in the PoB tree Resolute technique is taken which is weird since the new ascendancy give you hits cant be evaded if you taunt. Other than that great guide!

    Edit:

    Got my questions answered ingame!

I wonder about the ascendencies you picked up on your build.
    1. Is fortitude needed if you use overwhelming odds (i like the extra AOE when mapping and it also gives more life leach when you're surrounded)?
    2. Worthy Poe gives you 20% damage isn't inspirational better since it gives you 35% damage and move speed? we don't need the no evade if we have resolute technique, and it doesn't seem like you removed it from the final tree.

Would you please summarize here what he told you in game? Thanks.

    1. I prefer reliability. Perma Fotify always trumps conditional Fortify. This way I can use another jewel to fix areas that are lacking.

    2. That's not how it works. 35% is additive, whereas the 20% increased is multiplicative.

You cannot skip RT since your hit chance is low (70-ish percent bcs of low Dex). I'd consider taking it if the hit chance was at least 85%.

So do we still use kaoms roots with this build or no?
