What's the big difference between the Juggernaut and Berserker version? Is it just damage / survivability? Which one is more effecient for Uber Atziri / Shaper if cost doesn't matter

NOTE: Using my version and MadScream's version for comparision as I know those builds quite well.

NOTE2: I might have missed something.

EDIT: Switched the pic, forgot that jugg have a possibility to use Scolds aswell so maximum Discharge DPU can go over 70k :o

EDIT2: Switched the pic again, corrected cyclone aps as this is mostly jevel / gems dependent and very similar on both - sorry, now it should be final.

  • TFU hands down. BotD is just 10% MORE DPS, while TFU is 25% MORE DPS but not only that - its 25% MORE healing (in case of a Juggernaut) and has increased attack speed that helps to reach that sweet spot of 4.5 - 4.7 Cyclone APS. And ofc Harbinger's aura is very fun thing to have as well as very practical at the same time as it speeds up the map runing. So even without +1 endu charge I would pick up TFU over BotD anytime (for Juggernaut).

    Would love some suggestions on how to improve. One area that hurts, my RF kills me unless I am fighting. Is this normal?

    I spent a lot of currency on this guy, but always looking to improve. I also do not have a curse going...most regular mobs die easy and curse doesnt help against bosses anyway right?

    If you want RF running permanently, need as much life regen as possible through tree and items, utilize pantheon powers, and as much max res as you can muster. It's ok if RF kills you very very slowly when you aren't actively killing, but if it's burning you fast then gotta get more regen.

    Pantheon powers: Solaris is good; the major that reduces damage over time and the minor that reduces fire damage over time are both good for RF as well. I personally use solaris for the 8% reduced elemental damage taken when haven't been hit recently (secondary power - it affects RF), and then the 25% reduced reflect.

    You can also utilize a boot enchant on your inya's, 2% life regen when hit recently is very good for RF and in general. So when I don't have my 2% regen running, I benefit from solaris 8% reduction, when I have been hit, my regen is overkill thanks to the boots :).

    Max res through voll's corruption, and/or empowered POF or a POF in +2 or +3 gem levels unsocketed ring. Also, the higher the life recovery roll on your Flow Untethered, the better for purposes of keeping up RF. It's basically lots of free regen, and the difference between a 15% and 20% is not insignificant.

    Getting to the point where you can maintain RF permanently (outside of 40%+ life recovery reduction, ele weakness, or -max res maps) is pretty nice and something to shoot for imo. It's a massive amount of damage for both discharge and also just the RF AoE burn, and the QoL while mapping is great -- anything your discharge doesn't hit or finish off, the burn damage will. Allows you to simply shield charge around rather than cyclone a lot while general mapping.

    Spam that ruby flask + chalice while mapping if you're life recovery isn't high enough just yet. Looking at your tree, maybe consider dropping one life node (the 5% at the top perhaps) for the 0.8% regen node near marauder start. Though I haven't plugged you in to POB, so I don't know what your overall life regen looks like. You want to be at -50 to -100 at most without endurance charges or fortify, and then net positive with. -50 to -100 (or even lower like -20) with no buffs is solid because it can be reduced by Pantheon powers and regardless will very very slowly tick you down.

    How do i link my jewels?


    Currently you have positive life regen under RF at max endurance charges and with golem up without even touching a ruby flask. However if you want still to improve that Anbokr gave you really good sugestions. I personally would hunt for a life regen enchantment on boots, use proper Pantheon and maybe consider dropping one point for 0.8% life regen near Marauder.

    Any Curse is quite useless against Guardians and Shaper (80% less curse effect) and this is really where it is most needed but... it is still some improvement against enything else. So adding curse on hit Repentance gloves is not a bad idea if you have the money.

    You can link your jevels after you remove them from a passive tree into your inventory. However it is not needed. I can see your whole build with tree, gems, items, jewels in PoB.

    I got the boot enchant, helps a bit. Still feel like I do better without RF tbh, but maybe cause I was against guardians, for maps it helps but things melt without it too. I took out shield charge cause I move pretty fast already. What is a good 6th jewel red (i dont really need blood magic)

    Can you suggest another 4 gem setup for boots? Maybe some kind of CWDT curse or bladefall or something? Maybe one of the 4 gem set ups from that AFK build since we have a lot of spellpower? The RF seems to be more trouble than its worth.

    Thank you - I will try to get boot enchant. Flow Untethered was expensive and i wish i had bought a higher life one! Does the recharge rate also need to be higher to get my extra discharge or am i ok? My cyclone aps is 4.51

    Yea - i will keep an eye out for repentence gloves with ele weakness...none for sale right now.
