If you're wondering why culling strike on Arc, blame it on my low count of chrome. =D

If I may make a suggestion on this: As long as you're running a green socket on inpulsa's anyways, you could consider going for hypothermia. You will have to find/buy an abyss jewel that adds cold damage to spells. Since your orb of storms already has culling strike, this might be a useful damage increase. Up to this league, Enki has recommended Hypothermia, so it should still be effective as long as you run the green socket.

Will try it out, thanks. =)

Edit: Just tried it on PoB and hypothermia makes me loose about 32k DPS. Both calculation were made with 20/20 gems.

Hello, I would like to ask, which gloves should I use. Currently I am using these:

Behemoth Talons
Fingerless Silk Gloves
  • 16% increased Spell Damage
  • +85 to maximum Life
  • +43 to maximum Mana
  • +47% to Fire Resistance
  • +39% to Lightning Resistance
  • +13% to Lightning and Chaos Resistances

  • But from temple I got ones with lightning mod and I was lucky to remove other bad affixes:
    Plague Knuckle
    Dragonscale Gauntlets
  • +48% to Lightning Resistance
  • 46% increased Critical Strike Chance against Shocked Enemies
  • I was thinking about multimod them with: resist, hp, hp with mana regen and maybe dmg during flask effect.

    Thank you for your advice.

Did you add a source of cold damage to spells? Because hypothermia is a more multiplier (stacks multiplicative with other sources) and culling strike is only an increased multiplier (stacks additively).

Edit: make sure you check the box with "is the enemy chilled?" in PoB.

Just tried with chilled ennemies, hypothermia is the way to go i think, adds 110k dps in PoB.

As it is now, Arc gives me 64 to 80 cold dmg, is it enough to chill?

Thank for correcting me, still learning on how to use PoB efficiently. =)

Dreagation is absolutely right, and props on the big upgrade!

With Beacon of Ruin, any amount of cold damage will chill enemies, so Hypothermia will always work--starting with the second hit, of course.

Not sure if you can add both life mods, but Life and Life + Ar/Ev should work. Instead of Dmg during Flask Effect you could also use +1 AoE Gem Level for more OoS utility, and to my knowledge the 8-10% AoE that comes with it also affects Inpulsa explosions.

Just gotta mention that the next version very likely uses unique or elder gloves, so decide for yourself if it's worth the currency to multimod this now.

What gem setup would you use for a 5 link inpulsa's? Or would tabula be better until you get 6l?

5L Inpulsa is better, throw out Controlled Destruction.

I'm a new player, using this build as my first character in SSF Blight:

    https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Zephyrinius/characters

I'm having a lot of fun and just getting into red maps (T10). I die occasionally in delve (~115) and very rarely on map bosses. Have killed Elder once. I'm wondering what to work on gear-wise.

    1. I have lots of crafting materials sitting around (orbs, essences, fossils). I'm not getting ilvl 83+ drops yet since I'm only at T10 maps. Is it worth crafting stuff now or should I just try to push through to get higher level bases? I do have some ilvl 86 sorcerer's gloves from Oba's map, but they're not elder or shaper. Should I try to craft those?

    2. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any of the unique drops recommended for the build and haven't had a 6L armor drop, except a Tabula Rasa, so I'm using that . I don't think I have enough orbs of fusing to craft a 6L but I can certainly craft a decent 5L rare chest. Would that be better than Tabula?

    3. I can't get 3 red sockets on a wand, so currently my Immortal Call setup is on gloves and I only have two golem gems. I'm trying to find the delve zone with the 3 colored sockets recipe so I can switch to the recommended setup. But is it really important to have 3 different golems, rather than 2 lightning + 1 chaos?

    4. I'm just about finished releveling my gems after doing the 20 quality recipe. I have a 20/20 Vaal Arc, plus some other 20/20 Arcs (Vaal and non-Vaal). Should I try Vaaling some to get a level 21? Is that better than level 20 Vaal? Should I wait until I can get a shot with the lapidary lens?

    5. I'm leveling an empower gem. When it gets to level 2, should I start using it in my 6L? Or does it need to be level 3/4 to be useful?

    6. What else can I improve, and what's the best way to find the upgrades I need in SSF?
